I've recently moved all of my things from the spacious, sunlit back room in my Greenpoint apartment to a cramped, 10x8 closet in the front near the living room. Despite putting the majority of my possessions in storage or giving them away at the Salvation Army five blocks away from my house, my life is still a wreck. Amazing.
